Start of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden, Berlin in the Schiller Theater
The world premiere of the opera "Metanoia" by Jens Joneleit opens the first season of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in the Schiller Theater on 3 October 2010.
This opera was meant to be staged by Christoph Schlingensief, who passed away shortly before the first rehearsal. His work was then completed by the remaining artistic team. The recording with the Staatskapelle Berlin conducted by Daniel Barenboim features star soprano Annette Dasch and Anna Prohaska along with Graham Clark, Alfred Reiter and Daniel Schmutzhard.
